Diaper cakes are rolled up diapers that are stacked to resemble a tiered cake, we use Pamper brand size 1 & 2 diapers. They are loaded with miscellaneous items every new baby will need. A diaper cake makes a beautiful centerpiece, if you're hosting a babyshower, these cakes can do double duty as a centerpiece and your gift! The next time you're looking for a creative centerpiece idea for a baby shower, or an unique gift, consider a diaper cake. The cake won't be served to the guests for dessert. But this cake will do double duty as a cute centerpiece and very pratical gift for the mommy to be. Because no two babies are the same, neither are my baby cakes. I make my baby cakes using more than one size diaper. That way, as the babies grow, there are still diapers on hand for them to grow into. Keep in mind, not all babies are born fitting newborn sizes. If you are purchasing a baby cake for a newborn baby, it may be a good thing to find out its weight. In most cases, babies wear size 2 diapers the longest. My cakes/cupcakes weigh anywhere from 2 to 15 pounds depending on how many tiers you purchase. Shipping is based on weight. So the larger the diaper cake, the higher the shipping charges. All diaper cakes are shipped via USPS Priority Mail unless faster service is requested.
